Admission to an already established class is possible subject to availability for children from families considered to be highly mobile. Families are considered to be highly mobile if, for
professional reasons, one or both parents or guardians relocate several times, not only for a short period of time at intervals of a maximum of four years; one-off stays abroad and intentions to
enter or emigrate do not justify high mobility.
A further prerequisite for admission is English language skills that correspond to the teaching level of the grade level attended.
Language skills are determined by English language entrance tests approved by the school authorities, which consist of an oral part and an additional written part from year 3. The test is passed
if at least sufficient performance is achieved in relation to the native speaker requirement level.
If more pupils fulfil the admission requirements than there are places available, pupils who return to the State International School after several years abroad will first be accepted.
The registration form will be available here from spring 2019.
